About

Chained Beasts Guide is an independent, unofficial fan guide to Chained Beasts, a co-op gladiator roguelike from Featherweight Games for PC, PS5, Xbox, Switch. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Featherweight Games. Our goal is to maintain a fast, ad-light, source-checked reference where solo players and four-player co-op squads can verify mechanics without wading through speculative filler.

How We Write and Verify

We build pages from first-party material only: the official Steam store page, Steam News announcements, the public achievements list, and official store screenshots and trailers. Every article displays a verification timestamp and cites the exact public source behind each claim. When Featherweight Games has not published a number, formula, or unlock table, we explicitly mark that detail as not disclosed instead of guessing, and we never publish invented stats, fabricated tier lists, or unverified build calculators.

Whenever an on-screen number comes from a pre-release store screenshot or trailer frame — such as Merchant item gold costs, Trainer upgrade labels, or night-camp UI tags — we attach a clear caveat noting that the value comes from official store screenshots or trailer footage and that the live release build may differ. What We Cover

• Guides: beginner basics, all 60 Steam achievements, 1–4 player co-op and crossplay, difficulty tiers, PC and Mac system requirements, release platforms and pricing, and the post-launch Update 1.1 and PVP roadmap
• Bosses: arena preparation and achievement breakdowns for named encounters including Beastmaster Barca, Goliath, and Praefectus and the siege
• Beasts and Merchant items: the eight playable gladiator Beasts, their Variant achievements, and screenshot-documented night-camp shop items

Screenshots, Trailers, and Fair Reference

Screenshots and trailer frames are © Featherweight Games, reproduced at low resolution with explicit attribution to identify the arena UI, boss telegraphs, and camp menus discussed in each guide. Store screenshots and trailers can differ from the release build, and where we quote an on-screen value we say so. Rights holders can request removal or attribution updates at any time through our Copyright page.

Corrections and Reader Feedback

If a guide passage looks outdated after a patch or disagrees with what you see in-game, contact us with the page URL and the official announcement or in-game screen that shows the change.
