No. Chained Beasts Guide is an unofficial fan site and is not affiliated with Featherweight Games. We build pages from the Steam store page, Steam announcements, the achievements list, and official screenshots and trailers, and every page shows when we last checked its sources.
When did Chained Beasts come out, and on which platforms?
Chained Beasts launched on October 15, 2026 on Steam (Windows and macOS), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch, with day-one Game Pass on Xbox and Windows PC. Linux, Switch 2, and physical editions are not confirmed in the sources we read.
How much does Chained Beasts cost?
The US Steam store listed $19.99 at launch, with 35% off to $12.99 for two weeks after release. Prices and sale timing vary by region and storefront, so check the store page before you buy.
Does Chained Beasts have co-op and crossplay?
Yes. Steam lists solo play and co-op for one to four players, with online co-op, shared or split-screen couch co-op, and cross-platform multiplayer. A per-platform crossplay matrix and friend-invite steps are not published in the sources we read.
How many achievements does Chained Beasts have?

What are the Chained Beasts system requirements?
Steam minimums ask for Windows 10 or macOS 11, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 1050 or RX 460 on PC (Apple M1 or Intel i7-8850H on Mac), plus one gamepad for same-screen co-op. Steam Deck had no compatibility rating on 2026-10-16.
What is planned after launch?
Featherweight's roadmap lists a December 2026 Update 1.1 with a new arena, boss, weapon, and enemies, then PVP plus new skills and afflictions in Q1 2027. We track announcements only.
Does this site list codes, tier lists, or builds?
No. We have not found a redeem-code system in official sources, and Featherweight has not published the stat tables that tier lists and builds depend on. We add those pages only when official material supports them.
Which bosses are named in official Chained Beasts materials?
Official Steam achievements and developer announcements name Beastmaster Barca in Act 1 Carthage (who enters on a rhino, linked to Stampede), Goliath in Act 2 Germania (testing agility with leap and ground slam attacks, linked to Deep Impact), Praefectus with the Praetorian Guard in the Act 3 Rome catapult siege (linked to Clearing the Skies and Don't Look Up), plus the Flail Master (Turning the Tide) and the Rome finale target The Senate (Rebel Leader).
Who are the eight playable Beasts, and how do Variants work?
The eight playable Beasts confirmed by the Free as a… Steam achievements are Lion, Eagle, Bear, Panther, Ibex, Rhino, Monkey, and Wolf, with Bestiary tracking unlocking all eight. Developer announcements state that playing matches grants XP to level up Beasts and unlock variants with different stats, skills, and skins, while per-Beast base stat tables remain undisclosed.
How do the Trainer camp, Merchant items, and Afflictions work?
Between combat days, players visit the night camp where the Merchant sells from a pool of 40+ items tagged Passive, Arena, Instant, or Equipment (as shown in the official Steam store screenshots; the release build may differ), and the Trainer screen tracks level progression up to level 20 (Overtrained) alongside 70+ skills and 70+ skull-rated Afflictions such as Recklessness I, On Fire I, Weak Shoulder I, and Grip Fatigue I.
How do the ten difficulty levels and Crowd Favorite scoring work?
Developer announcements state that Chained Beasts features 10 difficulty tiers topped by Jupiter (achievement King of the Gods), alongside the four demo-era named tiers Pleb, Legionnaire, Centurion, and Hades. After each battle, the summary screen grades players across Variety, Tempo, and Carnage and crowns the highest scorer Crowd Favorite (as shown in the official Steam store screenshots; the release build may differ).
